Welcome to our DealTent.com Site!

We sell many different items on Ebay and DealTent.com, as well as many other sites, because first off, it's affordable, and fun, and easy to do!
We usually have to charge a little more at eBay because of the high listing fees and final value fees at there, but what a great thing they have going there! I used to love ebay, but rarely list there now due to the ever changing rules an
What's different about here is that the listing fees and the final value fees are soooooo much lower. That gives me the ability to keep more of my sales in my pocket, and still give my customer a good deal.
If you sell anything on the internet, try out DealTent and / or eBay for expanding your sales reach. Auctions are a dynamic and exciting method of creating sales and building name recognition and good will!
Go ahead and look around! If we don't have what you need, we'll see if can get it for you! And if you don't buy from us, check out the other sellers here!
Buyer pays for shipping, which is included in the auction's final price. We strive to keep our shipping prices fair and accurate, and will ship by the fastest, most cost effective (for both you and us) method available. Nearly every completed and paid for sale will ship within 1 business day of payment being made.
End of July Newsetter
July 2008 Newsletter
Hello Everybody!
I didn't send out a newsletter last month, so I thought I'd catch everybody up.
As some of you know, May was a record month for Dealtent in every category - item views, total traffic, items listed, new people joining, etc, and June broke a lot of those records. Total number of items viewed was not one of them though, being about 2% off.
July on the other hand CRUSHED May and June in every single category, rising about 26% over June. Awesome job everyone! As buyers and sellers, I feel particularly fortunate to have some great people participating in Dealtent.com!
Cool Stuff For You
There are some features available to all of you that most probably aren't aware of, so I though I should bring it up in this newsletter.
All of you who are getting this newsletter get free accounts, free listings and listing enhancements (like Main Page Featured, and Attention Arrows etc.) should you happen to sell things on Dealtent, but did you know that with your DealTent account you also get a free home page?
I know!
You can post items there in html or other programming languages, or as simple text using the text editor. You can tell people about yourself, write articles, whatever. I haven't tried it yet, but you can probably paste your myspace page in there, or even YouTube code.
To access your home page, simply log in, then go to the Seller's Tools hyperlink in the top right block (Preferences/Settings) of links on that page and click "Home Page Content." This will open up a text editor. To embed html there, just click the Source tab on the text editor.
So that you can see what I mean, I'm going to post this newsletter on my home page at http://dealtent.com/sites/dealtent/. This page also lists all the items that I have for sale, just as your page would. Your home page would be located at http://dealtent.com/sites/your-user-name/
You can use this address to print onto business cards, post onto your MySpace or FaceBook page, on your personal website, and to generally refer people to your information.
The next item is the "Bulk Uploader," available to you on the same Sellers Tools page as your home page content link. The Bulk Uploader works with Excel and Access databases, and really speeds up listing items for those of you who list a lot of stuff.
There are also other cool things on the seller's tools page, which you'll see when you go there.
Invoicing and Emails
Unfortunately we live in an age when spammers, the bane of online society, thrive and ruin many a persons ability to participate in online activities, and unfortunately, that genie probably not going back into it's bottle anytime soon. Having said that, I'm finding that, do to filters, our invoicing system from sellers to buyers sometimes does not work properly, in that sellers send invoices, but somewhere along the line said emailed invoices disappear into the Internet ether. There is a backup solution to this though, and that's our message system.
Right on your login page, you'll find links at the top under headers such as Buying Tools, Selling Tools, and Account Tools (which, ironically, you'll find the Sellers Tools link I mentioned above). The first link under Buying Tools is "My Messages." This will give you access to emailed questions and replies between your buyers and sellers, including your invoice information. If you purchase an item and haven't received an invoice, check the Message Center to see if your seller has sent the invoice, and if not, contact the seller by email and request your invoice right from the auction page you won on. For sellers we ask that you check your messages area once or twice a day just to see if a buyer has asked you a question.
Kudos!
I want to thank those of you buying and selling on Dealtent. You are the ones who are making us grow, and you have my personal thanks and admiration.
Some of the Hot Shots for July are:
Most Listings for July besides us:
jandkimports, homepage: http://dealtent.com/sites/jandkimports/JandKimports sells a lot of really cool stuff, from household items to neat novelty stuff. They are a class act, and straight up people too, and you can be sure their customer service is first rate.
Most Listing Volume in Dollars:
digigo, homepage: http://dealtent.com/sites/digigo/Digigo sells cars and trucks, everything from newer vehicles and economy cars, to classics. I can't say much more about digigo, as I've never had a conversation with them, just quicky emails, but from everything I've gathered, they're Top Shelf.
Best Newbie:
liberty08, homepage: http://dealtent.com/sites/liberty08/.
Liberty08 has a wide range of neat stuff, and is quickly catching up to JandKImports in number of items listed for the month. Although Liberty's item pictures look as if they're taken from a cell phone camera, Liberty08 has solid listings. I'm not saying that to be critical, or to embarrass Liberty08, but to ask you not be put off by the pictures. If I can find a spare digital camera around here, I'm going to send it to Liberty08 at no cost. If this is good for you Liberty08, just let me know.
Neatest Seller:
This is completely subjective, so I don't expect all of you to agree with me, but I think the neatest items besides JandK's are coinsms69190, homepage: http://dealtent.com/sitescoinsms69190/. Really sharp coins, coins and more coins! If you're in to this field you really owe it to yourself to check coinsms69190's items out.
That's all for now folks, and thank you for taking the time to read this through. If anyone has a question or wants a problem, feel free to contact me at admin@dealtent.com.
